Nced Conference Center & Hotel

Me and my extended family stayed at NCED Hotel for a wedding weekend. The breakfast buffet is incredible. They to aim to please! The front desk manager was so kind, cheerful, and amazing (Brianna? I think that was her name). Actually, all the employees were great. You can tell they like what they do. The rooms are basic but were VERY clean which is a priority for me. The hotel isn't the Ritz Carlton but the value is amazing - free parking, wi-fi, our breakfast was included, friendly staff, very close to OU, etc...I recommend staying here if you find yourself in Norman.

We went for a softball tournament which was being held during the Women's College World Series. The hotel was busy. The hotel has breakfast that is not included in the room price. The breakfast was reasonably prices and was good. The hotel was clean. The room was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but was comfortable. Staff was helpful when we needed something.

Worst hotel, first off it's very unwelcoming when you drive up. Looks like a prison. Can't use the front drive area, lots of caution tape . Smells bad. The room was tiny and cramped, the queen bed was actually a full, there is no mini fridge. The front desk lied to us and didn't offer a partial refund even though the whole experience was bad, only thing good is the pool. The luggage carts are janky, the old carpet moldy, This hotel feels like something out of the twilight zone. Never coming back, don't recommend. Poor management. Way in the outskirts of town in an industrial area . Rude staff. Over it.

My husband and I chose to spend a night here after renewing our wedding vows. I was nervous because of the mixed reviews, but our stay was amazing! We stayed in a premium suite with a king size bed- it was clean, cool, updated, stocked with extras, like coffee and bath amenities. Everyone we met was friendly and made sure we were having a comfortable stay. I felt like I was in a resort in Florida instead of just down the street from my house! A few tips- Choose a "premium" updated room. The classic rooms are smaller and more outdated, as I understand it. Book direct with the hotel and your rate includes all you can eat breakfast in the 3 Squares Eatery from 5:30-9:00 am (incredible breakfast!) There's a bar open until 10:00 pm each night, and if you ask they'll let you have your drinks to go so you can sit outside in the courtyard. The pool is seasonal and opens on Memorial Day weekend and isn't open year round.

This place is a Horrible accommodation! Do not stay here….EVER! Please pay a little more and Pick anywhere, and I mean anywhere else but here! Rooms super small….bathroom microscopic! Need I say more? Okay how about staff unfriendly & the room was so hot.

My husband and son have stayed at this hotel for years while attending OU games and have had pleasant experiences there. Mostly because of the breakfast buffet and food availability after the game. I have noticed when looking to book in recent years the cost increases considerably during football season which took them to other lodging. We visited Norman recently and decided to stay one night here. The lobby is very nice and modern, but my first impression of the room was how small it was. The bathroom was like a closet. I understand nothing can be done to change the size of the rooms, but I'm only commenting on that issue for purposes of those reading reviews. If you don't like tight spaces or if you are a larger person, beware. The sink area only has 6" available space on either side of the sink. The toilet and tub are through the doorway and it is only 30" from the tub to the wall. Many elbow bumps when changing clothes and I'm not a very big person. The beds were comfortable, although there is usually a blanket at the end of the bed in other hotels. Not here. It was chilly that day and extra bedding would have been nice. The towels were horrible. Only two towels/two washcloths/two hand towels were provided. They felt like sandpaper. Soap . . . only one bar of soap and it's size was 1.75" x 1.75". So small it was even hard to manage while showering. The water pressure in the sink was pitiful. Other reviewers said there was no microwave or refrigerator. Since we were there only one night and not on a vacation, we did not take snacks or beverages. I think we may have had a refrigerator, but I don't remember seeing a microwave. Coffeemaker was available and had (3) tea pods (we don't drink tea), (2) decaf coffee pods (we don't drink decaf), and only (1) regular coffee pod. There was a supply of creamer, but no sugar or sweetener. No stir sticks if you did add anything to your drink. That was probably housekeeping issue since the creamer was there. Vending machines are down by the ice machine, but the one on our floor was empty. Checked the one on another floor and there were maybe five items in the whole machine. Snacks are in the gift shop in the lobby, but I never saw anyone working in the gift shop so I suppose you would pay for them at the check-in desk. Being on the 5th floor, having to go all the way down to the lobby and look for someone to take your money is a hassle. Being a weekend and not a normal football weekend, I don't think they were super booked so noise wasn't a big issue. After we went to bed, there was a period of time someone sounded like they were clanging around in the hallway with maybe a cart. Our room was next to the hotel laundry room and it sounded like it may have been laundry staff going in and out with the door slamming? Small outdated rooms with old and worn furnishings. Kitchen staff friendly but food is passable at first. Feels more like a jail than a hotel security all over the place watching your every move no microwaves in rooms or floors no refridgerators uber drivers not allowed to deliver to rooms.

Pros: clean, quiet, nice hotel. Cons: food overpriced, feather pillows (allergy sensitive) Staff was wonderful. Gym and game room delightful. Easy access off main road. Late check in allowed. Able to access everything 24/7. Near OU campus-7 minute drive.

I attended a conference there in july. The service is nice, meals are very good with a fair number of options. Their vegetables and fruits are always fresh!!! Liked it!!! Rooms clean with good air conditioning
